Principal Report

  1. Data Report and TSSP/LandTrust Goals

SME SCC 24-25 Winter Data Analysis

  1. Aimee shared mid-year data and discussed our current progress toward our TSSP goals. 
  2. Shared year after year trends in data for Silver Mesa for both Pathways of Progress and Proficiency Benchmark goals
  3. Compared Silver Mesa current year and trend data to CSD data
  4. Discussed the need to set an ambitious and attainable goal for for both growth and proficiency in both math and reading
  5. Discussed climate goals and screener data for internalizing and externalizing behavior
  6. Discussed that behavior usually increases before we see a decrease in behavior. Explained what an extinction burst is and how right now we are seeing escalations and extinction bursts as we reteach behavior
  7. Discussed our approach to de-escalation and helping students self regulate their emotions in supporting climate goals
  8. Data report will be brought to BLT in March and goals set and shared with faculty and staff and then presented in SCC for approval before the April Deadline
  1. Next meeting is 3/27/2025. Motion to adjourn at 6:37
