Monday Minute

Dear Parents,

With the big snowstorm forecast for tonight and tomorrow, we may have a Snow Day called for Wednesday.  The district will be out on the roads early in the morning to see how the roads are and will call it at that time.  Watch your notifications to see if school will be held in person or if it will be a virtual day tomorrow.  Our teachers are preparing for the possibility, and some are choosing to send home packets today for students to work on tomorrow.  Others are getting assignments on Canvas for your child to access.  If we do have a snow day, your child’s teacher will be accessible via email for any supports needed.

Kindness Is Cool

Tom Parker (5th grade) – showing kindness and giving a compliment to another student in his reading group

Addie Orullion (5th grade) – looking for ways to build people up in class

Chloe Thomas (4th grade) – offering the best compliments!

Griffin Prowse (1st grade) – asked a friend to come sit by him when the friend was sad

Amy Alvarado Espinoza (2nd grade) – trading seats with a friend who needed a new place to sit

Jacob Enriquez Reyes (5th grade) – helping other members of his table & class to be successful
