Dear Parents,
Thank you for all the support for our teachers last week. We have awesome teachers, and it’s great to celebrate their hard work.
We will be finishing up our end-of-year RISE testing this week and have scheduled our short Acadience testing for all grades the following week.
Library Books Due
All library books will be due this Friday on May 13th. Please check with your child that they have located and returned their library books.
Learning Environment Forms due tomorrow, May 10th
On rare occasions there may be a need to request a specific learning environment for your child. All requests must be completed by May 10th so we can begin creating classes for the next school year. Please understand that requests after this date are very difficult to process. A lot of thought and care go into our class lists, as we try to meet the needs of all students as well as balance the numbers. Thanks for understanding.
Volunteers
Are you planning to volunteer for a field trip or other end-of-year activity? Canyons School District requires all volunteers to get a background check. If you wait until you arrive at the school ready to volunteer, you may be too late, leaving the class or activity short-staffed. Please take care of this ahead of time. We love our volunteers and never want to turn anyone away. Thanks! https://volunteer.canyonsdistrict.org/volunteersystem/volunteer/
