Dear Parents,

Have you ever thought about working in the school setting?  We are looking at next year and will have some positions available in various areas:  reading aides, special needs paraprofessionals, a Playworks technician and others.  We are looking for positive, happy people who like to work with children.  Please respond to this email if you are interested or if you have other questions.  Silver Mesa is a great place to learn and work!

Kindness Is Cool

Here are some more examples of kindness happening at our school these past couple of weeks.  We have the best students!

Samantha Fish (2nd grade) – including someone else to sit with her at breakfast

Avery Rankin (3rd grade) – including a new person so sit with them at breakfast

Nixxon Medhy (3rd grade) – helping a friend to the office when he got hurt

Hazel Hosenfeld (Kindergarten) – playing her violin for the class

Owen Kinser (Kindergarten) – sharing Honeydukes candy with a friend

Jensen Reeves (1st grade) – helping friends clean up

Anderson Ortiz Cante (4th grade) – helping someone who was sad

Eyal Vos (3rd grade) – helping his teacher by positively leading his group and setting an example for his classmates
