Dear Parents,
Fourth grade students did a fantastic job in their program today! They presented to the school about our great state of Utah. Thanks, teachers and students, for a wonderful assembly! They will present to parents on this coming Friday.
RISE Testing
Next week starts our two-week schedule of End-of-Year Testing in grades 3rd-5th. We want our students to be able to show their best learning. Please help them feel comfortable in taking the tests and send them to school with a good night’s sleep, a great breakfast, and some encouraging words from you. Our students have learned a lot this year!
Learning Environment Forms due May 9th
On rare occasions there may be a need to request a specific learning environment for your child. Attached here is a form you can use to make this request. All requests must be completed by May 9th so we can begin creating classes for the next school year. Please understand that requests after this date are very difficult to process. A lot of thought and care go into our class lists, as we try to meet the needs of all students as well as balance the numbers. Thanks for understanding.
Kindness Is Cool
Here are some examples of kindness happening at our school these past couple of months. We have the best students!
Chase Twichell (4th grade) – bringing in 3 recess carts by himself, during a snow storm
Eloise Shores (3rd grade) – standing up for someone in her classroom who was treated unkindly
Jaylyn Armstrong (2nd grade) – supporting other students when they succeed
Bhodi Passey (3rd grade) – sharing when another person succeeds
Evelyn Trujillo (Kindergarten) – being kind and sharing her practice paper during Brain Boosters
