Dear Parents,
We still have some open positions at our school that we’d love to fill. If you or someone you know would be interested, please reach out. There are no working hours on evenings, weekends, or holidays, and you get to work with some pretty awesome children!
- Recess Aide: 17 hours a week supervising students on the playground for their lunch recess. There is also some time to help students and teachers in the classroom and/or do some copying.
- One-on-one Paraprofessional: We have more than one position available to help shadow a student throughout their day, helping support them under the direction of their teacher. Some positions are 28 hours/week, one position is 8-10 hours/week.
Resource Teacher Change
We have had a change in our resource teacher. Drew Fosse started the year with us and has done really well. He has now taken on a new job, and we are so lucky to have Shaeli Bettridge back to work in this position. Ms. Bettridge has been our resource teacher for the last two years, and moved to a district job to start the year. Ms. Bettridge was able to return to Silver Mesa, and we’re thrilled to have her back!
Lost and Found
There is a Mini Cooper keyless entry fob that was turned in to our front office, and it hasn’t been claimed. If that belongs to you, please let us know. We’d like to get it back to the owner.
Parent Teacher Conferences
You may choose which format for meeting with your child’s teacher for conferences this month. Please clarify with the teacher if you’d like to do an in-person meeting or a digital Zoom meeting.
