Dear Parents,

There are only two days of school this week due to the Thanksgiving Recess.  Tuesday will be a full day with our normal dismissal time.   I hope you enjoy time with family and friends over the holiday!

Lunch Money Overdue Notices

Last week our district sent out lunch money overdue notices.  They will be doing that periodically throughout the year.  It’s an automatic system, and even if you are behind on paying for lunch by just a little bit, it will notify you.  If you need any help putting funds in your child’s lunch account, please contact the front office.  We can also help families that need to apply for free and reduced lunch.

Kindness Is Cool

Here are some examples of kindness happening at our school these past couple of months.  We have the best students!

Ivy Anderson & Emmy Bryner (5th grade) – happily volunteered to fill in on potty pass duty when a student checked out early

Aukeem Jones (4th grade) – helping a friend who was having a hard moment

Rowan Sackett (1st grade) – helping the teacher and classmates clean up and put things away

Ashton Novack (5th grade) – helping others in ELA and showing respect

Quinn Simmons (5th grade) – helping others in Math and setting a good example

Maggie Benson & Mia Youngblood (4th grade) – volunteering to help a science buddy

Isadora Silva (Kindergarten) – helping another Kindergarten student do the monkey bars
