SCC Meeting 9/20/23

Next Steps:

  • TSSP goal approval
    • All in favor- Amendment put into the board and will be brought to next board meeting
    • Discussed how more consistency and reteaching will help support the goal of limiting misbehavior
  • Trainings for SCC
    • SCC (second Wed of the month @ 7:15) Next is October 11th
    • Have Susan come to do formal SCC training for us then
      • Have agenda posted on website a week in advance
      • Bylaws posted on the website
    • SCC training best in person (October 11th)
      • Noelle will call and try to get that on the calendar.
  • Safety Training
    • Friday Morning Drill “Lockdown”
    • Lockdown drill Friday morning.
      • Training for faculty. See the video this afternoon at the staff meeting
      • Active Shooter drill called “Lockdown”
      • Inform Students it is to keep safe in a calm way
    • Making sure doors are closed
      • Watchdogs go around to close them after the bell
      • Doors being fixed-
        • No time frame, but they are in contact via email
  • Safety fence?
    • Walkways between houses?
    • The gate leads to a backyard.
    • Do safe Walking routes plan?

        • Reach out to the district for fence plans would be a school board issue and happen at all schools in the district.
