Mid-Year Data
Mid year data
Reading goal- proficiency goal 75%
Growth 75%
Actual- 66%
Math Goal- proficiency 80%
Growth 80%
Behavior Data-
School Climate goal- 10% reduction in peer to peer conflict and aggression as measured by ODRs.
Suggestion to disaggregate ODRs by grade level and what is typical behavior and what is real peer to
peer behavior.Look at monthly percentages vs actual number of occurrences.
Are we on track with goal for end of the year?
4. Principal Review 2025-2026 TSSP and LandTrust 1st Discussion
Goals and budget money for next year…
Money for next year: We are losing students, land trust money went down to 95k. TSSA do cost
of living increase
For reading we have interventionist benefits and salaries. Who provides? -teachers
Teacher collaboration days at the end of the year
BTS teacher (she’s at a .8) we fund her the extra .3
Professional contracted days-we bought early intervention books to help build up plcs but we
wont be using all that money
General intervention supplies.
Math iReady paid for this year, math intervention and supplies
Paying full time social worker, claire and akalya, structured recess and conflict resolution,
outreach planning activities (attendance, anxiety about school and working through it)
PBIS prizes
Lisa is making a new budgeting system and will get it to SCC for our next meeting
Thoughts:
iReady math tech is too much of a good thing. Seeing trends in data that suggest too much
tech.Legislature/district pushing away from the tech component. Canyons proposal that K
doesn’t get the software.
Individualizing instruction harder without the tech. Both for enrichment and intervention
iReady is similar to RISE testing
Aimee suggested the money should go towards differentiation training
Explore options for software in different grades
Jenna-
Push into the class rooms and discussing and teaching interventions, started various programs,
attendance culture, We want to keep her
Recess and MTSS interventionsHouse Bill 399- limiting social behavioral learning and tracking progress. Will that effect to
have the social worker?
Aimee said Canyons is in strong support of teaching SEL
FTE-
Cut teachers to increase class sizes and available resources?
