Monday Minute 3.9.2020

Dear Eagles,

Published author Chad Morris will be visiting our school Thursday to talk with our 3rd-5th graders about writing.  This fits well with our literacy focus this month.  The fire department visited our 2nd graders today to teach them about fire safety and will visit our kindergartners next week.  We appreciate these visitors coming to support our students!

Honeydukes

To help bring fun and excitement to our Literacy Month, the “Honeydukes store” will be open for business this Thursday again.

Students can visit the store after they eat lunch.  They can bring money to purchase individually packaged chocolate frogs, butterbeer, and pre-bagged packages of mixed candy bags with a Harry Potter theme.

LITERACY NIGHT

We still need your help filling all the positions for Literacy Night.  Please follow the links to see how you (or your teenager–*think “Service Hours”) can help.  Also, if you are wondering how your child can complete literacy activities at home to earn points for their team, there are many links on the PTA website to help you.

Thanks!
