On Tuesday, November 24, Kindergarteners from Silver Mesa got the special privilege to talk to Governor Herbert “face to face” about Utah’s harvest. Kindergarteners asked all sorts of questions to the Governor. Mrs. Keller said the questions they came up with were cute and hilarious. They were then able to sample a few of Utah’s own harvested apples!
On Thursday, November 19, Silver Mesa’s fifth graders took a walking field trip to Falcon Park to study water distribution. Masked up and distanced, they made observations, experimented with ground water, and drew conclusions based on their findings. While there, students gave back to the community through chalk art messages and pictures full of inspiration and thanksgiving! Click here to see more from this event.
