We will be handing out chrome books tomorrow, March 23, 2020 from 7:30-9:00 am. Instead of having you come in the building, please stay in your vehicles and we’ll come out to you. Just loop around in the north parking lot so that the first car in line is by the north doors entering into the gym facing east. If you have signed up for a chrome book on the survey sent out last week, we do have one available for you with your child’s name on it. If you write your child’s name on a paper to show out your window, that may help us go a little quicker, but it’s not required.
If you did not sign up, we have a few extra ready to hand out. We can also give them out to families with more than one student in our school. (Previously we had limited that to one per family.) This will be a first-come, first-serve situation and once we are out of the chrome books that have been managed, we can’t allocate more. Again, we do have one for everyone who signed up on the survey.
If you are also wanting printed student learning packets and math books, just let us know when you drive up.
I want to give a shout out to several staff members:
- Field tech, who has been working hard to get chrome books ready to deploy in four different schools.
- Librarian, who has logged them in the library system and been present for all check-outs
- Front office staff, who were run off their feet last Thursday getting these resources ready and delivered to our community
I appreciate their dedication to our students!
Please know that we are practicing social distancing and will be wearing gloves as we deliver the items to you.
