Parent Teacher Conference Sign ups

Conferences are scheduled the last week of this month.  Please go online to schedule a time to meet with your child’s teacher.  The scheduler will be open starting Thursday, Feb. 6^th until Feb. 20^th.  Watch for a PeachJar flyer to be sent out with instructions and a link to the scheduler. 

 

5^th Graders going to Albion

Albion Middle School is hosting their 6^th grade Course Selection Night on Thursday, February 6th from 5:30-7:00pm. This night is for all current 5th grade students and families who are coming to Albion as 6th graders for the 2020-2021 school year. Pick up your registration packet between 5:30 and 6:00pm and then head to the Auditorium at 6:00 for a brief presentation where you will meet the faculty, learn about 6^th-grade classes and hear about all the opportunities for involvement at Albion.  We look forward to seeing you and getting to know your student!

Valentines 

Many of your classes have already sent out notices for what their class/grade will be doing for their valentine’s parties. Contact your room moms or check the form of communication your teacher uses (i.e. email, apps, blog, etc…) for updates on how to be involved or what to prepare. Contact silvermesapta@gmail.com if you still have questions. 

 

 

 

Upcoming Dates:

Feb. 5^th:  Union Middle School Parent Night; 6:30-7:30 in their auditorium;  Parents and Students are welcome.  Learn about course selection and tour the building.  There will be time for Q & A. 

Feb. 5^th:  SCC Meeting; 7:15 AM; Conference Room;  All are welcome!

Feb. 6-13^th:  Candy Grams/Pencil Grams;  Our Student Council sponsors a friendship activity to sell suckers or pencils for $0.25 during lunch times starting on Feb. 6^th.  Students can purchase some for their friends or for anyone they want to brighten their day.  The student council will deliver the grams to students in their classrooms on Valentine’s Day.  Parents are welcome to purchase some in the front office at any time between the 6^th and 13^th.  

Feb. 6^th:  Course Selection Evening for 5^th graders and their parents at Albion Middle School in their auditorium;  5:30-7:00 pm

Feb. 6^th-20^th:  Sign up for conference time

Feb. 7^th:  School Spelling Bee for students in grades 3-5^th; 8:30 in the gym

Feb. 11^th:  5^th grade Field Trip to the Symphony at Abravanel Hall. 

Feb. 13^th:  5^th grade Field Trip to the Capitol Building.

Feb. 14^th:  Valentine Parties in the grade levels.

Feb. 17^th:  President’s Day Holiday; Make-up school day for the missed snow day.

Feb. 26^th-27^th:  Parent Teacher Conferences

Feb. 27^th:  Early Out Day; Students dismissed at 1:15.  Kindergarten will follow their Friday schedule for this day. 

Feb. 28^th:  No School; Compensation Day for teachers.
